Lost Title

When important documents get lost, it is important to replace them quickly to avoid headaches down the road. 

If you loose your title, a duplicate title can be ordered from the state of Texas.  The duplicate title can only be issued to the person named on the title. All of the information on the duplicate title will remain the same as the original.

What You Will Need For a Duplicate Title

Texas DMV form

2 Lien Release Letter

If lien was recorded on title

3 Identification

Valid government-issued photo ID

4 If Business Owned

Other docs (only if applicable)

5 Payment

Fees for title transfer and taxes
